Emil Teifukovich Tchalbash

Habilitated Doctor in Arts, professor
He was born on July 29, 1938 in Simferopol. In 1966 he graduated from the Tashkent conservatoire, studying violin. He is a laureate of the Second Moscow Contest of Performing Teachers. He has given concerts in Russia and other countries. A rare creative potential, broad professional expertise, thorough attention to the spirituality of each student and constant search for new teaching methods allow Emil Teifukovich achieve miraculous results in the process of teaching. During the time worked at educational institutions in Russia and abroad prof. Tchalbash has trained more than 300 students among who there are professional musicians, laureates and winners of international contests.
Teaching on Cuba (1974-1976), in Iraq (1978-1980) and Yemen (1985-1989) he simultaneously was an advisor to the minister of culture and information of Yemen, Spain (1991, 1993) and Syria (1995-2002), compiled teaching aids, methodic research papers, studied optimum education methods. Results of his research work have been included in materials of international conferences and symposiums. He is the author of over 30 papers on the issues of musical culture and teaching methods.
Prof. Tchalbash has been the head of the Music and Theatre Department of the All-Union Institute of Refresher Training of Cultural Workers of the USSR Ministry of Culture, head of the Department of Chamber Ensemble at the Russian Academy of Music, senior expert at the International Cultural Center at the Ministry of Culture of Russia. Since 2002 he has been a professor teaching violin at the Musical and Theatre College. Prof. Tchalbash has been a jury member at the Moscow, Russian and international violin contests in Cuba, Yemen, Iraq, Syria, Hungary, Greece and Poland. In 2005 he was invited as a jury member to the Second International Contest and Festival “World Music for Young Virtuosos” in Dubai (UAE).
Emil Teifukovich is a full member of the International Academy of Informatization, a member of the Board of All-Russian Music Society, director of the “Eurounion” orchestra, a member of the Art Council of the methodic section of the Moscow Culture Committee. He has over 30 Russian and foreign award diplomas, certificates of honour, and medals. In 2004 he habilitated in Arts. He is a member of the International Board of Arts at the Academy International of Sciences San Marino.
He speaks English, Arabic, Spanish, Turkish and French.
Since 2005 he has been a professor at the Department of Humanities and Social Studies at the Justo University, teaching courses in “Culture Studies”, “Ethics” and Spanish.
