Interschool Laboratory of Transcendental Pedagogics
In their time Dostoevsky and many other Russian thinkers in his wake said that “in order to improve on Russia, we need only one THOUSAND of educated, comprehensively developed and faithful young people capable to dedicate themselves entirely to social and economic and spiritual reforms of their country”.
As a part of fulfilling the task, in 1997 Yuri Petrovich Azarov, vice-rector for research activities at the Justo University, initiated foundation of Interschool Laboratory of Transcendental Pedagogics. The Laboratory creates methods of general and professional individual development for specialists in law, economics, and management, conducts research and practical work with students, teachers and other members of the University staff and their children aimed at instant revelation, development and consolidation of their talents.
In our understanding, transcendental synthesis is a means of accelerated spiritual and creative development of those taking part in prof. Azarov’s workshops. Numerous experiments held in the Justo University, Moscow State University of Culture and Arts, Moscow City Pedagogical University, Moscow Bauman State Technical University, schools and educational centers of Moscow and other regions of Russia received a considerable acclaim at international symposiums and workshops in different cities of the USA, the Royal Castle of Warsaw, the Cremlin, the Russian Culture Foundation, the Russian and American Center, at “Education and Career” trade shows, in Central House of the Artist, Tretiakov Gallery, etc.
These experiments prove that within an ultimately limited timeframe (2-3 classes) it is possible through transcendental synthesis to reveal students’ and teachers’ abilities and talents, to enrich the manifestation of the uttermost abilities with polyphonic art contents.
Developing methods of implementation of pedagogical technologies in smaller Russian cities and towns, in coordination with the Russian Ministry of Education and Science, we create an acceptable methodology of familiarizing the new pedagogics by teachers and educators at universities, schools, kindergartens and educational centers.
The originality of the work is that, for the first time in the world culture, transcendental principles are being developed in the process of sociocultural activities based on the universal human values, synthesis of sciences, cultures and arts. This spiritual and creative trinity provides for a natural connection of such art and literary styles as prose, poetry, drama, music, painting, choreography and most recent technologies in psychotherapeutic treatment.
In encyclopedias “Who is who in Russia” and “On the eve of the 21st century” it is said that similar experiments held for the first time in the pedagogical world, are described in numerous research works by prof. Azarov and also in publications by European University Justo. The experimental results crownig more than ten years of ongoing research were published in the “Scienco kaj Kulturo” (Science and Culture) magazine and thus brought to the attention in more than 30 countries receiving highly positive critical acclaim.
